.243 Savage 10gxp3?

Hey bud, great choice for rifle and caliber (get the accu-trigger). As you know the lighter 55gn bullets will zip along close to 4000fps and be perfect for varmints where as the 100gn bullets are just fine for deer and hog. the 3x9 Simmons scope is bout a 40 dollar value. If you set it and forget it it will work decently for a good while. But a better scope will give you more clarity, thinner cross hairs, and the ability to make often changes in zero to accomadate the different bullet weights and speeds. Go with the package for now and then save up for a great scope... one in the 300 dollar and above caegory!
