Lets say this man actually gets an opportunity to mate or make it with a briliiant woman on a few chance encounters. Pregnancy occurs. Now. he has just moved his genetic profile up the totem pole. BUT, now because most woman are on the pill - chance, luck, and creating desirable offsprring is no longer in the equation for capturing a brilliant woman for a lowly man.
