Good flower for the sick?

Well... my friend has swine flu and I wanted to give her something a a get well present. What flower would be good? I want to make sure there's not much pollen or no insect will come. I also tough of some cookies but I don't think there's any recipe good for the sick? Please help, school starts soon and I'm very worried...
