If you can answer this, please.. I'm beyond confused..?!?

Lol.....If you never played the games, it's difficult to understand the movie. The mother and daughter didn't survive. It was meant for the little girl to be in Silent Hill, the mother also. They are in a parallel vortex of the town, so when the father is there, he can feel them, but not see them. It's kind of hard to explain. If you have a playstation, rent the game...I played all them....very spooky.
