What does the last 8 or so years of global cooling mean to global warming enthusiasts? ?

It means that the gulf stream or some other mechanism to redistribute the heat around our planet might be getting disrupted. All that is being talked about is that the global climate is changing, not that things are necessarily getting warmer because a change in one system will disrupt the other systems.
